Job description
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Provide administrative and organizational support to Human Resources Department
- Maintaining employee records (digitally)
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data
- Assist the HR team in onboarding and offboarding activities
- Assist with absence tracking and reporting
- Collaborate with the Recruiter to post job ads on careers pages and process incoming resumes
- Assist with research for new policies and procedures
- Ensure accuracy in documents, records, and data entry.
- Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters
- Manage and address telephonic queries directed to HR
- Assisting in the planning of company events
- Ensure compliance with Austrian labour law
Qualifications
To ensure success, a HR should exhibit the following qualifications:
• Ideally prior working experience in an HR department of minimum 1 - 2 years
• Very good German and English language skills (both verbal and written), company language is English
• Basic knowledge of Austrian labour law
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
• Independent, accurate and structured way of working
• Attention to detail: ensuring accuracy in documents, records, and data entry.
• Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
• Very good computer knowledge of MS-Office software programs.
• Must have the right to live and work in Austria
